AUTOMATIC FAX/PHONE
CHANGEOVER
FACSIMILE
The automatic fax/phone changeover facility will
allow a single telephone line to cope with both incoming telephone
and facsimile calls. The machine answers the call and listens
to the incoming sound. If it hears a Facsimile signal it switches
to fax mode, if not it switches to telephone mode and produces
a secondary ringing to alert the user. This can also be used
in conjunction with the answer machine interface.
This will reduce costs as only one telephone
line is required. Time will be saved as the machine will deal
with facsimile calls automatically, with only telephone calls
requiring the users attention.
